We believe more exotic substances from the roots of W. taiwanensis will be isolated.
Three compounds were isolated from the roots of W. taiwanensis. One was determined to be sikokianin B (1) by spectral analysis. The others of structural analysis is ongoing. Hope to find more bioactive compounds in the future.
