Respectively, the pre-test was taken before adding the teaching materials, and the post-test was made after the teaching materials had been taken for three months. This study was based on the KAP theory and the self-made questionnaire, and the adding materials was imported into the Guidance Activity Curriculum – one subject of Integrated Activity Learning Area, mainly in researching of the current junior high school students’ Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice in understanding the meaning of "Chronic Disease". In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted to study the seventh grade students in a senior high school in southern Taiwan. The first-year students were the sample, a total of 12 classes and about 330 pupils divided into 2 groups, experimental group and control group, to analyze the data of pre-test and post-test. Average, Percentage, Standard deviation, Statistical analysis, Descriptive Statistics, Independent t test, ANOVA Single Factor Variance Analysis, and other statistical methods had been used for data analysis. The conclusions of this research are as follows: 1. To bring in the health education materials, in the knowledge part, there are significant differences. Students can remember the information being passed. 2. After knowing the health education materials, in the attitude part, there are significant differences. Students are concerned about the knowledge of Chronic Diseases. 3. There was no significant difference between the two groups. That is, there is no change in students’ behavior after the knowledge of Chronic Disease had been introduced. 4. Difficulties in promoting the knowledge of Chronic Diseases. Conclusion: The study puts forward a number of recommendations to the government related units, school teachers, parents and future researches according to the results of the research.
