seems to be the rage. The teaching groups and communities in elementary schools and
junior high schools integrate film-based instruction into different issues. Teachers give
film-based instruction and expect to enhance students' learning motivation and
performance. Moreover, Chinese teachers in junior high schools use film-based instruction
to enhance students’ affective learning and make up the shortage of the texts. However,
when facing the high stress of the teaching progress, how to enhance teaching performance
by film-based instruction becomes a issue that is worth discussing. Therefore, the research
expects to discuss the willingness of using film-based instruction for Chinese teachers in
junior high schools and the factors which affect them to use the instruction or not. This
research can not only provide education administration organizations, teachers, and future
researchers who wants to give film-based instruction for reference, but also help Chinese
teachers to use film-based instruction.
For the research purpose, the questionnaire method is adopted In this research.
Research Instruments were "Film-based Instruction Factors Scale", "Willingness to Use
Film-based Instruction Scale." Survey was done on Chinese teachers of junior high
schools. Questionnaires were designed from Google Form, randomly sampled by online
survey, and taken back 214 valid questionnaires. After taking back the questionnaires, the
research uses descriptive statistics, reliability and validity analysis, independent sample
t-test statistical method, single-factor variance analysis to conduct data processing and
analysis. The analyzed results found that male teachers, young teachers, teachers of the
seventh grade, and teachers with administrative positions are more willing to use
film-based instruction. In addition, the willingness which the Chinese teachers of junior
high schools have to use film-based instruction is influenced by their efficiency attitudes,

factors of time, and device resources. Thus, enhancing the perceived benefit that Chinese
teachers have from using film-based instruction, having flexible teaching time, and
upgrading the teaching equipments and resources are helpful for Chinese teachers of junior
high schools to have effective teaching with film-based instruction.
