Although there are many related research have been studied by both domestic and foreign researchers; however, most of them are static study in general social science, rarely in system dynamics point of view to explore this issue. In this study, literature review, secondary data analysis, system dynamics methods were adopted. In order to plot the Causal Feedback Loop Diagram, the software Venism 5.0 was used to explore the factors that affect elementary school students’ mathematics semester grades first. Then, according to the results of Causal Feedback Loop Diagram, ways and methods of how to enhance mathematics grades and achievement were provided to parents, teachers and educational institutions for future reference. Three facets that have influence on elementary school students’ mathematics semester grades are: (1) scores of daily mathematics pop quizzes, (2) scores of mathematics homework, (3) scores of mathematics regular assessment. According to the causal diagram, this study found that the degree of peer cooperative learning, the degree of teacher’s value on mathematics, logic ability, reading comprehension ability, teacher’s teaching ability, homeroom teacher’s class management ability, the amount time of after-school classes, the amount time of mathematics cram school, the difficulty of mathematics exam, leisure time, the amount of mathematics homework and students’ anxiety toward mathematics are the driving factors which have influence on the three facets of students’ mathematics semester grades. Also, this study provided the intervention point policy and recommendation conclusions for parents, teachers and related educational institutions for further reference and research.
