Summary: | 碩士 === 中華大學 === 科技管理學系 === 104 === The School Cooperative Association was originally called the Welfare Association, but operation of the Welfare Association generated several disadvantages, so the government issued a general order to schools at all levels to promote the Cooperative Association. In recent years, as times, students’ consumption habits, and the government’s statute of limitations all change, the operation content and form of the School Cooperative Association have also changed. Some of them have set up a store, and in addition to running the notebook business and uniform agency, they also sell food and stationery supplies; some of them only run the notebook business and uniform agency; some of them outsource operations; and some even directly carry out dissolving and liquidation. However, some people still believe that the School Cooperative Association can solve parents’ trouble with regard to having no time to prepare meals and buy school supplies for their children because they are too busy, and the foods sold conform to the regulations of education and health authorities, which can prevent students from buying unhealthy foods.
This study aims to investigate elementary school students and their parents the importance they place on and the level of satisfaction regarding the implemented School Cooperative Association, while applying the “Importance and Performance Analysis” so as to investigate the key points needing to be improved in the services provided by the School Cooperative Association, with the students and parents’ opinion on the existence or abolishment of School Cooperative Associations, which will provide references for education-related units within cooperative associations.
This study adopts questionnaire surveys in order to collect data, with the objects of this study involving fifth and sixth grade students and their parents, along with incorporating a descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample tests, one-way analysis of variance, paired sample t tests and the importance and performance analysis, are all carried out for questionnaire data processing.
The study results indicate that, students and parents feel important with School Cooperative Associations, and hope that the School Cooperative Association continues to be in operation. Students tend to be satisfied with the overall service of the current School Cooperative Association. The perspective of the students attach importance to most of the “commodity attributes”, with the most of the satisfactory levels regarding “convenience”; and “interactivity”, which needs to be improved primarily. Students of different genders, different grades, using School Cooperatives Association different purposes, different days to School Cooperatives Association, and different opinions on the existence or abolishment of School Cooperative Associations have significant differences in the degree of importance. Students of different days to School Cooperatives Association, different number of weekly pocket money, and different opinions on the existence or abolishment of School Cooperative Associations have significant differences in the degree of satisfaction.
Studies have shown that students pay relatively less attention to eating healthy food. The parents attach the most importance to is the “commodity attribute”, along with the parents hoping that the School Cooperative Association continues to operate attaching importance to the convenience of the School Cooperative Association.
According to the study results, it is suggested that schools continue to operate as a School Cooperative Association, while staffs of the School Cooperative Association needing to improve interactions with students, and to integrate the foods of the School Cooperative Association into their food safety educational programs.
