Summary: | 碩士 === 中華大學 === 科技管理學系 === 104 === "In pursuit of perfection" is the motivation of growth among mankind. If we have healthy mindset, it will further drive us so that we can perform with more excellence. Yet, for those who are with unhealthy mindset, it might end up with depression, anxiety, or other problems of physical and mental discomfort. Since teachers are loaded with such major responsibility of cultivating students, while students in junior high school stage are found acting along with the "raging period," will the coping strategies and class management of junior high school teachers choose be affected under such ever-changing work pressure as well as personality trait in pursuit of perfection? As such, the motif of this study is to find out the present status of those junior high school teachers with perfectionism types and so as their coping strategies as well as efficacy of class management; in addition, it will also analyze the impact of different background variables upon the diversity among those with perfectionism types, coping strategies, and efficacy of class management.
This study has adopted questionnaire survey, using junior high school teachers of Taoyuan City as its subjects; in total, 463 copies of questionnaire are released, retrieving 448 copies, with 442 of them being valid (95.46%). The information obtained will be conducted of analysis with descriptive statistics, t-test, chi-square test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s r and other statistic methods, and research results concluded are found as follows:
1.The use of coping strategy and class management efficacy among junior high school teachers are found with above-average performance.
2.Age and seniority are found to effect with significant difference on perfectionism types as well as class management efficacy of junior high school teachers; those who are more aged and senior are found with relatively lower proportion of maladaptive perfectionism, and class management efficacy of the more aged and senior teachers is relatively better than those younger and less senior ones.
3.It is found that the variable of marital status can effect with significant difference on class management efficacy, for those teachers with children perform better than those who have not yet had.
4.The integral coping strategy of those adaptive perfectionists is significantly better than those non-perfectionists.
5.Class management efficacy of adaptive perfectionists and maladaptive perfectionists performs significantly better than non-perfectionists.
6.Coping strategy and class management efficacy are found with moderate positive correlation, while the most intense variable that affects class management efficacy is of problem resolution. Secondly, it’s emotion adjustment.
