Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 科技管理學系 === 104 === With the rapid change of ICT and fast development of the internet, smart phones have become the most popular high-tech product nowadays, and as a result, instant messaging applications are becoming popularized as well. This not only alters the traditional way of communication; but also makes communication more convenient. For school organizations, good organizational communication can contribute in the building process of consensus and achievement of goals. How can these digitized communication methods be applied for enhancing communication efficiency among school members has thus become an important topic. This study uses TAM2 as theoretical foundation, and probes into the impacts of external variables on the behavioral intentions and communication effectiveness of elementary school teachers in using LINE application, including perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and social influence. The study conducted a questionnaire survey on elementary school teachers of Taichung City. In 420 questionnaire copies, 385 replied, and the valid rate reached 91%. The survey data were further processed by SPSS for descriptive statistical analysis including reliability, item analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation and regression. Research results shows that subjective norms, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are the major factors affecting the willingness of elementary school teachers to use LINE application in organizational communication. Secondly, positive attitudes from significant others will help raise the willingness of those who are less interested in using LINE application for organizational communication. On the other hand, the behavioral intentions of elementary school teachers to use LINE in organizational communications will positively affect the organization’s communication efficiency, that is, as teachers’ willingness to use LINE application in organizational communication increases, so will the efficiency of organizational communication. The empirical discovery of this research shall serve as an important reference for the evaluation of other schools in applying instant messaging applications on organizational communication.
