Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 行政管理學系 === 104 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the current condition and the relevance of elementary school students’ cognition and attitude toward life education and how different they are with environment and background variables. In order to reach the study purpose, this study chose survey method which used ‘‘The Questionnaire of Elementary School Stuclents’ Cognition and Attitude toward Life Education” developed by the researcher as a survey tool. The study objects are the elementary school students in Xindian District,New Taipei City.The effective samples are 305 in total. According to the result of the questionnaire, the analysis of data is operated by descriptive statistics. T-test. one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation method. Based on the result of the analyzed data, the conclusions of the study are drawn as follow : 1.The students’ standard was even on both field of the life education cognition and life attitude, but presented different level on its content. 2.There was a significant difference on the gender, birth order,academic performance, campus feeling, family atmosphere, for students in each and whole cognition aspects of the life education. 3.There was no difference on each and whole aspects of life education for students of different gender students; only on the love and care aspect, the female student got higher scores than male students. Moreover, there was a significant difference on each and whole aspects on life education for the students coming from different academic performance, campus feeling, and family atmosphere . 4.There was a positive correlation between life education cognition and life attitude for students.
