The DMD patient’s muscle would be replaced by fibrosis and fatty infiltration. In early stage, the patient couldn’t move easily because the disease affected his lower limbs and proximal limbs. Close to the middle and final stages, the distal and upper limbs are affected leading to loss of independent ambulation. In our research, using window modulated compounding (WMC) Nakagami imaging, one of the ultrasound scatter statistical methods, evaluating different stages DMD patients. There are 45 cases in our research, and we collect the patient’s data in the National Taiwan University Hospital. In the first result, the muscle tissue would be mainly replaced by fibrosis in the early stage, while it would be mainly be mainly replaced by fatty infiltration in middle and final stages. Second, the gastrocnemius is the better part to evaluate the muscle function among the lower distal limbs. Third, the sequences that DMD affected are lower proximal limbs, lower distal limbs, and upper proximal limbs. Fourth, in the early and middle stages, the use of dominated hands are one of the appropriate exercises, and they are benefit to slow down the muscle tissue degeneration. At last, the signals from WMC Nakagami imaging wouldn’t be affected because of different positions or ankle angles. P. H. Tsui 崔博翔 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 82 zh-TW
