A Study on Use Intention and Affecting Factors of Kinect-Based Tele-Health Promotion Service Management Platform

碩士 === 長庚大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 104 === This study used Kinect-Based Tele-Health Promotion Service Management Platform to research the elderly for the use intention and affecting factors. This study adopted qualitative research method by way of interviews. The interview subjects were all more than 55 years old, had exercise habits, and knew how to operate a computer. In each interview, a subject had watched the introduction slides of the platform. The slides are intended to let the subjects understood the system architecture and functions. After the introduction, each subject was asked questions. This study collected 10 valid interviews. The results of the interview analysis showed that the subjects liked Kinect-Based Tele-Health Promotion Service Management Platform and they were interested in using the platform. This study found that "Good for the health" was the main affecting factors for their acceptance of the platform and "Cost" was the main affecting factors which decreases their acceptance of the platform. The results also indicated that the platform was useful and easy to use. This study also obtained some recommendations from the subjects to enhance people’s willingness for using Kinect-Based Tele-Health Promotion Service Management Platform. The recommendations include: (1) the platform is combined with health care services for the elderly, (2) the platform is incorporated into government long-term care plans, (3) the platform is designed in a form of app.
