We uses a thermochromic film made from organic thermochromic material to make measurements on a heating platform and under a halogen lamp in order to investigate the degree of discoloration and transmittance for different concentrations of thermochromic paint and thicknesses of thermochromic film. The most suitable concentration of thermochromic paint and thickness of thermochromic film are selected based on the degree of discoloration and color contrast. Using the best conditions for four different colors of organic thermochromic materials, this study explores the reaction time of discoloration, reversible reaction time of discoloration, transmittance and specific heat capacity for different colors of organic thermochromic film.
