Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 財經法律系研究所 === 104 === With the advance of technology and the popularization of internet, the wholly new finance model which is different from direct finance and indirect finance emerged as the times required, and it is called “ Internet Finance ” ,which is disruptive innovation in finance services. “ Internet Finance ” is the combination of technology and finance, the externalization of FinTech, and there are mainly six operation models of Internet Finance : Third-Party Payment, P2P Lending, Crowdfunding, the Finance of Big Data, the Portal of Internet Finance and Virtual Currency. It challengs the traditional finance industry, such as banking, securities business, and insurance with advantages of breaking the time and geographical restrictions, low costs, mitigating information asymmetry, the complement to financial exclusion, personalized services and so on. Therefore, the traditional finance industry must seek transformation and enhance the quality of services in order to form the healthy relationship of coopetition with Internet Finance. The essenece of Internet Finance is still fianace, so that it would face risks the same as the traditional finance. On top of that, the risks of Internet Finance may occur diffusion and qualitative changes because of utilization of internet technologies, so that the key point to develop robustly of Internet Finance is how to control these risks completely. In addition, about the supervision of Internet Finance, regulators should try to find the balance between the stable financial order, the rights of customers and investors, and the development of Internet Finance, and to avoid taking one thing into consideration and neglecting the other. This paper discussed about the supervision of Internet Finance focusing on Third-Party Payment, P2P Lending, and Crowdfunding, and introduced the currently regulatory rules in United Kindom, United States, and Taiwan. Finally, this paper concluded the development of Internet Finance, and made suggestions for the supervisory trend of Internet Finance.
