It is not sure how the colorectal cancer has been caused due to unobvious symptoms, but it can be checked and treated earlier by Stool Occult Blood or Endoscopy. The information indicates that if early stage Colorectal Cancer is found and treated well, the survival rate will over 90% percent. According to National Health Insurance Research Data, It shows that 7,213 persons has suffered from Colorectal Cancer in 2000, and up to 14,965 persons in 2012. The incident rate has been increased from forth rank to first rank in top ten cancers.
According to the statistics, the Colonoscopy is related to those persons aged from 55 to 75. Recently, the statistics shows that the incidence rate for older age and young age group is getting higher and higher. It is inferred that the western food and the daily habit have influenced.
This research is designed for a medical insurance of Colorectal Cancer. The process of this research is on the basis of National Health Insurance Research Database from 2003 to 2012. Analyzed result has come out with the prevalence and incidence rate of Colorectal Cancer. Lee-Carter Model has been adopted to predict the incidence rate of Colorectal Cancer. Finally, we took the incidence rate as the main data to calculate the premium of the designed medical insurance.
