Modular design can make the process of maze design simple and standardized. It is fast and flexible. Hierarchical structure can reduce the mistakes in the process. In this research, modular design and hierarchical structure are integrated to in our proposed automatic system. The designers can design the maze with top-down method. The modules of the maze are generated by the depth-first-search method and composed by the designer to fit his/her needs.
