In the process to satisfy customer demand, no one product is made out of materials sector. But materi-als sector plays in the middle of it like the role of the central nervous system. Its opera-tions include the proper allocation of resources and dealing with conflict, to respond quickly and reach customer needs. This study attempts to investigate the use of lean production systems to improve the case company materials management processes, and analyze the case company materials management workflow status through the value stream map, so the company's internal staff to understand processes related sectors and identify process issues and should improvement projects. By relevant measures, all the departments can be clearly aware of the ultimate goal, companies can track and assess whether improvement goals to reach, and establish a continuous improvement of insti-tutional processes to be continuously improved. The company can shorten. Flow time of pre-internal processes, accurately reply instant customer order demand and supply in order to achieve the pursuit of low cost and high efficiency of enterprise competitive-ness.
