Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 創意生活設計系 === 103 === In April 2013, I have had the honor to be one of the instructors in a symposium of creative design in 2013 International Conference on Cultural and Creative Industries - Crossover Collaborating of Success, sponsored by the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. I would stress that my relevant knowledge was based on the in fashion design, and years of teaching at Hsuan Chuang University. I found out that the cognition towards styles of clothing design are relatively weak among my students, which leads me to develop a tailoring technique by North American Smocking with bag-like structure as the basic shape (referring to volume) in this experimental pedagogy. However, the outcomes of my students’ creation are full of stunning either on their sense of style or sight. That is the motivation of this study of creating an experimental pedagogy with innovative fashion design.
For further exploration, this study intends to find out whether the participants who have had experiences in clothing design would have any impact on learning attitude, in learning understanding and the outcome of their work. Furthermore, I hope to explore whether their age and social identity would be a factor in their learning curve as well. Therefore, the participants have been divided in 3 groups: First, the students of non-majored in fashion design from the department of creative design at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. Second, the students majored in fashion design from Hsuan Chuang University Department, and the third group of general public learners from the Huludun Cultural Center. As a theoretical basis, this study conducts Phenomenography and the form of Aesthetic Principles to analyze the characteristics of these three groups, as well as with questionnaires and in-depth interviews to understand their learning attitude, and to identify the impact of their performance in design. Based on observation and different participates’ backgrounds, their comments in response to a variety of curriculum model of learning and teaching elasticity with innovative experimental pedagogy.
