In addition to understanding the students’ attitudes in participating school clubs, this study also explores whether students with different backgrounds have significant differences toward three variables which are cognitive, emotional and behavioral tendencies, and the relationship among these three variables. This research could be served as a reference in the future for helping high schools formulate strategies in the process of developing school clubs. Correlation and regression analyses are used to obtain the relationship among the three variables; descriptive analysis is used to understand the overall student’s attitudes; T test and one-way ANOVA test are used to examine whether students with different backgrounds have significant differences in their attitudes. The important research results are summarized as follows: (I) Students have high recognition in cognitive, emotional ,and behavioral tendencies toward participating in school clubs. (II) Attitudes of students with different backgrounds have significant differences toward three variables , Explanations for this are given below: (a) Sexes of the students ,posts in clubs they’re holding ,different grades they’re in or the various clubs they participate in ,make no remarkable differences on the students’ attitudes toward participating in clubs ,in the three variables which are cognitive ,emotional and behavioral tendencies . (b) Concerning to students of different branches of study ,their attitudes toward participating in school clubs have no remarkable differences in the cognitive and behavioral tendencies .While their view on “emotion ”- one of the three variables shows significant differences .This explains that the. students have different emotions due to what branches of study they’re in. (c) To some students, participating in school clubs may be new and fresh in the beginning .Their attitudes become not so positive nor active because of the constant activities arranged by the clubs. Key words:school clubs, regression analysis, cognitive, emotional, behavioral tendencies. 李義祥 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 60 zh-TW
