Restaurant industry occupies an important economic activity in Taiwan, but with easy access to the restaurant industry the formation of intense market competition. In any business to customer-oriented economic areas, sustainable development, an invincible position, that must attach importance to the quality services and customer satisfaction. Every Chinese New Year period, it is the season for restaurant industry. Booking for Chinese New Year dinner would start two month ago for the 「A restaurant」. They also taking the catering order by telephone for the Chinese New Year and it could take more than 1000 orders. How effectively deliver the order to customers’ home at a specified time is also a major challenge to the restaurant. Therefore, 「A restaurant」 conduct research and development for mobile food service systems and use cloud computing services platform as a service (PaaS) layer, through the cloud platform cloud service providers to provide services. The design and distribution of the Chinese New Year dinner orders using this cloud APP booking Action dining information systems. System is divided into two parts, one for the Internet portal to provide mobile catering services. Another one is the core of mobile restaurant information system to provide on-site control and management of the operations and other information services. System used modular design that can be easily expanded functionality in the future, a substantial increase in system flexibility. Integrated user interface reduces the learning time. In the highly competitive restaurant industry, improve overall operational efficiency. This plan builds the function of ordering and distribution using mobile cloud APP information system can render the best service to the customer completely. Information platform services using cloud services on mobile devices and mobile catering information through APP system of 「A restaurant」 different customers provide customized services, features and services to enhance the quality of the restaurant. Hope that through this cooperation case, technology transfer to the relevant type of industry, is expected to make other types of restaurant operators can become service-oriented of the e-restaurant to improve service levels and overall customer satisfaction.
