The correlation of using smart phones and it’s impacts was analyzed with surveys and in-depth interviews. The surveys were carried out on the students of Miaoli County Tong-Xiao Junior High School and the interviews were done with teachers, parents and students respectively so that the results of interviews and surveys can be cross-confirmed. The research result is in hope to help educational authorities, teachers and parents get a better idea of the current situation of junior high school students using smart phones and its impact on their academic performance.
