From teats, electronic products, household products, even to medical equipment like breast prostheses and surgery instruments, silicone products are closely related to human life. But the supply and producing skills of silicone rubber raw material has long been controlled by foreign manufacturers, domestic Liquid Silicone Rubber manufacturers are still in an embryonic stage. This study analyzes the Liquid Silicone Rubber producing processes and related control conditions by the Taguchi method, to choose the best silicone products production system conditions. The results show that, by using Taguchi method, optimum processing conditions for the screw position, mold temperature, heating seconds could make the best products and improve efficiency up to 27.77%. The optimal conditions can not only be used manufacturing process in the future, but also reduce producing costs of follow-up commodities according to this research.
