Agriculture occupies an important position in the process of Taiwan’s economic development. The tradition was forced to transform in ord to survive in the unfriendly of intence international competition and nature environment. In 2010, the Rural Regeneration Act was issueed to improve the development on industry and culture in rural areaby multiple integrating strategies. It also focuses on implementing the methods including natural ecological revegetation, renovation of unused space, reestablishing the image of rural area, and improving and enhance the quality of living environment. The Department of Agriculture of Kaohsiung City Government has been advising the rural communities in Neimen,Dashu, Cishan, Meinong, Yanchao, Liouguei, Namasiato popularize Kaohsiung Fun Farming Tourism since 2013. Visitors can have an in-depth travel in the rural community, experiencing the fruit picking, DIY handmade, and enjoying the local cuisine. It also can create the production energy in the communities and the natural environment can be restored. Moreover, the activities provide jobs for the elder labor in the communitygradually, stimulating the local economic effectively.This research aims to analyze the cooperation-competition relationshipbetween theLongmu Community and Tongling Community, both participating in holding Kaohsiung Fun Farming Tourism in Dashu area, by applying the theory of co-opetition. The study probes into fiveessential factors: the participants, adding value, change rules, strategic apply, and finding scope, in order to figure out the most competitive strategies for Longmu Community and TonglingCommunity , which can be models for other rural communities to develop their own innovation outline.
