Summary:碩士 === 萬能科技大學 === 經營管理研究所在職專班 === 103 === The author aims at investigation of the status quo of how the traits (dispositions) of the elementary school teachers (tutors) and students (pupils) affect character education implemented in Taoyuan City, comparing the disparity of the implementation and expression of character education of the said teachers and pupils with disparity in personal profiles and inquiring the relationship thereof. The methodology was the questionnaires survey with the convenient sampling. The samples were the elementary school teachers and pupils of grades 3-6 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The valid questionnaires collected from pupils and teachers totaled 425 and 30, respectively. The statistic methods of descriptive statistics, t-test, regression analysis, one-way ANOVA applied to the data collected and the concluding remarks are: A significant positive correlation is identified between pupil personal expression and disparity in pupils’gender and grade. A significant positive correlation is identified between teachers’ teaching behaviors on character education and character education promoted by school and disparity in teachers’ gender and marital status. A significant positive correlation fails to be identified between teacher’s influence on pupils and disparity in teachers’ gender, marital status and age. The preceding findings are the references to the educational competent authorities, parents and school teachers as well as the suggestions and references to future studies.
