Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 運動器材科技研究所 === 103 === Introduction:The gyro sensor has been applied to sports equipment to help the basketball coach who gives the real-time feedback of shooting adjustment for players. Purpose:The aim of this study was to compare the free throw kinematics of upper extremities collected from gyro sensors between elite and amateur basketball players, and then to find out the evaluated index of shooting skill. Methods:Twelve elite and twelve amateur basketball male players were recruited as subjects. They were asked to perform free throw for 30 times, and two gyro sensors were attached on their dominant hand and forearm. The misses and swishes, the kinematics of upper extremities, were recorded for post process and statistical analysis. Results:The elite group had higher peak angular velocity, variation of angular velocity during follow through on hand than the amateur one. The lower eversion of angular velocity during execution and the higher inversion of angular velocity during follow through on forearm were also found in the elite group. Furthermore, the peak angular velocity of swishes was higher than the misses in the elite group. The correlation of the peak and rotation of angular velocity between hand and forearm were r = .667 and .675, respectively. Conclusion:The higher peak angular velocity on hand, and the lower eversion of angular velocity on forearm collected from gyro sensors during execution, could be the evaluated indexes of free throw. Basketball players could adjust their motion of free throw based on these indexes, in order to establish the best skill and to improve the percentage of free throw.
