Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 休閒運動管理學系碩士班 === 103 === A body is a tool for a dancer to express emotions, and also an artwork which a dancer carves for the whole lifetime. Every “body artwork” has its own unique look. It tells who you are, and also represents a unique ‘body story’ of it.By means of self-narrative in the qualitative research, my research takes my life story as the theme, and reproduces my work experiences with Taiwanese modern dancer Fang-Yi Sheu, discussing why I continuously stay in the dance company and the effect of these experiences on my life. I will gather all kinds of field text as data, rebuilding my dance journey through narrative analysis, and examining my trustworthiness by validation test. Meanwhile I have to keep in ‘wakefulness’ by confessing my background story, preventing from taking prejudice to the field. Results show that the instructor Fang-yi Sheu’s care and expectation, the friendships with other dancers of the company, and my eager for dance all are the reasons for my continuously staying in the dance company. After the “de-style” experience and toughening in challenging modern dance skills, hence, my body for street dance has complete changed and has created the new body style. I learn to believe much more in myself and strive to become a dancer with “credit”. With these experiences, from a “serious leisure” street dancer, I have become an adventurer who begins to live my dance dream.
