Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 體育學系體育碩士在職專班 === 103 === The study aims to explore the participation motivation and the leisure benefits of people participating the recreational scuba diving in Taiwan northeast coast Longdong Bay, probing into the differences between the backgrounds of participants and proposing the suggestions by analyzing the correlations between participation motivation and the leisure benefits. The study implemented the questionnaire survey and adopted the exclusively edited questionnaire, Questionnaire of the Participation Motivation and the Leisure Benefits of People Participating the Recreational Scuba Diving in Taiwan Northeast Coast Longdong Bay, issuing 300 copies to the population participating the Longdong Bay scuba. Total 277 effective questionnaire was retrieved and the effective response rate is 92%. The gathered data was analyzed by the methods of descriptive statistics, independent samples t test, independent samples one-way ANOVA, repeated measures one-way ANOVA, LSD posterior comparisons and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. The results are as follows: 1. The score of participation motivation and leisure benefits reach upper-medium level. 2. The participation motivations differ significantly and the levels are in the order of mental requirement, health and fitness, social demand, and sense of achievement. 3. The leisure benefits differ significantly and the levels are in the order of mental benefit, social benefit, physical benefit and self-fulfillment. 4. The participation motivations differ significantly among participants with different gender, job, age, marriage, education attainment, diving companion, and accumulated cylinder amount. 5. The leisure benefits differ significantly among participants with different gender, job, marriage, and accumulated cylinder amount. 6. The participation motivation is not correlated to leisure benefits significantly.
