It also compares the differences of social support and training satisfaction, which were caused by different backgrounds, and discusses the relevant situations and the predictability of training satisfaction by social support. The participants of the research are the elementary school handball athletes in Taiwan. The researching method is "Questionnaire Survey" by way of customized questionnaire “Questionnaire survey of social support and training satisfaction of elementary school handball athletes in Taiwan”. The survey is based on purposive sampling. There were 445 valid samples retrieved from 480 formal questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by methods including Descriptive Statistics, Repeated Measures, Independent-Samples t-test, One-way ANOVA, LSD post hoc comparison, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Among the four factors of social support, the support from coaches and teammates are strongest, and the support from classmates and family are a little weaker. As for training satisfaction, team relationship is the greatest while personal performance is the least. 2. The background variables such as gender, grade, the area of athletes’ school and the seniority make significant differences to social support. 3. The background variables such as gender, the area of athletes’ school and weekly training hours make significant differences to training satisfaction. 4. The results show high-positive correlation between social support and training satisfaction. 5. Social support can be used to predict athletes’ training satisfaction.
