Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 應用物理暨化學系 === 103 === The main purposes of the study were: to explore the device of electric circuit misconceptions of 5th grade students. The researcher conducted a qualitative research instrument included eight interview questions modified by former researches, in order to analyze the conception of the device of electric circuit, the styles and sources of misconceptions on electricity and the difference of the conceptions on electric circuit held by 5th graders. Following the convenience sampling method, 12 sample students (includes six boys and six girls) were covered in an elemeentart school of Da'an District, Taipei City. All data were collected by using interview as well as analysis from the researcher. These qualitative data were used to summary of the research. The researcher had completed the interviews from student’s misconceptions, and the conception styles of the device of electric circuit included quote phrases to confound the eternal principles of rectitude, misuse scientific terms set, confusion of concepts or the concept unclear, personal cognitive bias, daily inappropriate analogies conception, direct observation of nature, intuitive response and spontaneous guessing, taking meaning from words, function-oriented, individual difference than scientists’ viewpoints, reasoning misconception. It had replaced with scientists’ conceptions after the hands-on activity teaching. The comments and suggestions will be provided to elementary school science teachers and science educators for teaching and research.
