In this study, collecting data is by using the qualitative research and semi-structured interview method interviewing three between 21-34 years old male NEETs. Thematic Analysis is used to analyze data and the results are as follows: 1.Discussing the career development of Taiwanese Male NEETs: (1)Males got confused about their career in their adolescence. (2)NEETs passively discover their career. (3)NEETs have not prepared to face the career crises. 2.Probing the internal factors in Career Barriers: (1)Self-concept ambiguity. (2)Too stubborn or too fragile may be NEETs. (3)High or low self-efficacy may be NEETs. (4)No plan for career. (5)Simplify role. According to this research, the Taiwanese male NEETs are influenced not only by the internal factors in Career Barriers but also external system. Summarizing the themes and the external system, there are five conclusions comes up as follows: 1.Adolescence is the key point to shape their characteristics; 2.Male NEETs is the group of career moratorium; 3.Work is not an important scale to measure their value; 4.School pays close attention in exam than helping student to developing their career; 5.Family and social system are the important external factors. There are some advices proposed as references for improving teenagers developing their careers based on this research as well as providing research improvement for NEETs study.
