Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 歷史與地理學系社會科教學碩士學位班 === 103 === Abstract This research is to study the history of Taipei Municipal Yong-Le Elementary School and the process of its development. In order to demonstrate the process of development, this research is based on historical research, combined with oral history from interviews. In this research, the author collects the school names and the history of the buildings since the beginning of this school, and also introduces the specialties of each principal. In order to display the development of Yong-Le, the study uses the Reward Charts to distinguish its feature. Its topical subject is based on daily life which includes students’ publication, collection of old photographs and souvenir albums and inquiries oral interviews of school staff, including principals, directors, teachers, and school workers. This research illustrates the school history together with historical emotions, and concentrates common memories. The presentation of historical memory usually leads to a new balance of the past, the present and the future. Facing the impact of being merged, this study recommends reuse of school space to do school history research and instruction. In that way, students can know more about their campus and communities. Besides, it can help students know themselves and surroundings. As only realization and identification can let people love their hometown.
