Creation that is rooted from the feeling of life expresses not only the individual’s inner state of mind but also the reflection of life and nature: “Cherish present, seize the moment”, as a poet uses words to describe an image or an artist uses images to imply words. I use flowers, my favorite subject, as the theme of my creation. In addition to converting the beautiful shape of flowers as the face and head of a woman, based on the revolution of social status of women in Taiwan in the past hundreds of years, I collaborate the fashion from different era to form the content of my creation. Fashion is closely related to our daily lives and can be used to explain fundamental social changes and psychological history. Using flowers, women and fashion I want to show the social development and role changes of women in Taiwan. Combining the concept of women’s fashion and images I would like to explore the social evolution of women in Taiwan and the meaning and influence they represent in changing times. I hope people who view my works can relate to the wonderful feeling and realization I have during my creation process, also can reflect upon and to cherish people, things and objects surrounding them. The purpose of this study is using my works to understand my own feelings and experiences and the gentleness and delicateness of a woman’s mind and the creation process to express her emotional understanding and self- awareness. With art symbols from semiology I want to explore personal views and emotions, and try to bring on viewer’s own thinking. Furthermore, I want to examine my own creation process through psychological analysis so to enhance my creative content and make the art world richer. 曾俊義 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 75 zh-TW
