Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 生物工程學系(所) === 103 === In recent years, due to the advance in research and instrument, assay of hepatitis B surface antigen has been improved, from qualitative the concentration of hepatitis B surface antigen. This approach is an additional indicator of therapy for chronic hepatitis B carriers. During the history of chronic hepatitis B, it has been confirmed that serum levels of HBsAg and HBV-DNA must be higher in the patients with HBeAg positive. The relationship between serum HBsAg concentration and HBV-DNA viral load is controversial. As it was known, patients with chronic renal failure, hemodialysis and HBsAg carrier, their serum HBV-DAN level is lower than the general population, and the HBV DNA level is relatively stable. However, The change of HBsAg concentration in this population is not clear. Only few studies focus on this issue. Therefore, in this work, it was investigated whether HBsAg concentration may be fluctuated due to of long term hemodialysis for chronic renal failure, hemodialysis patients and HBsAg carriers.
