Description
Summary:碩士 === 東南科技大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 103 === This paper implemented a half-bridge series resonant inverter for induction heating system. Silicon-controlled rectifiers (SCR) are used as switches in the main circuit, and the ZCS soft-switching mode of zero current is implemented to reduce switching losses. The DSPIC33FJ64GS608 32-bit DSP microprocessor, manufactured by Microchip Co., is used as controller. Output power adjusting is achieved by shifting the interval of the gate trigger pulse in every cycle. With this method, switching losses are reduced compared to frequency modulation switching method where switching losses increase temperature stress on SCR leading to breakdown on switching devices. Experimental results show that the proposed circuit topology has the merits of reducing switching losses, easy to implement and control.
