Humans never stop pursuing images. With the improvement of image digitizing technology and computer’s computing capability, a large amount of abstraction and conceptualization data are transferred into the condition easy for people to recognize, such as reappearing the Titanic tragedy or exploring the unknown moon Pandora. Therefore, the challenges on cognition of time, space, history, and memories occur naturally. This article orientates people’s needs on images through digital image processing technology to discuss how the high-performance rendering which integrates high-performance computing, dynamic simulation, and rendering software to conquer the limitations on traditional film shooting and equipment and then to accelerate the production of each kind of digital virtual images in the films. This article also tries to seek the theory foundation of aesthetics by Jean Baudrillard’s “Hyperreality” and “Simulation” theories. 陳齡慧 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 78 zh-TW
