Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士在職專班 === 103 === To contend the impact of price competition from competitor, Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM) model become the outsourcing strategy of the global server vendor, this is a tradeoff to maintain core competitiveness also reduce development cost. Thus, capability of outsourcing supplier will influence to the reputation and product quality of global server vendor, Timely performance review to the outsourcing supplier is required. Due to the characteristic of JDM operation environment, the supplier reviewer is dedicated with one of supplier, unable to assess other JDM supplier, the debate between reviewers, difficult to reach consensus to deliver consistent result. This paper is intended as a case study of global server vendor, investigate the root cause of debate during the JDM supplier assessment process, Furthermore, without changing the existing assessment criteria, improve assessment processes and method to enhance consensus of assessment result, ensure the assessment result has expected effective to manage JDM suppliers.
