Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所 === 103 === The purpose of this study is to discuss the relationship between motivation of students learning and career orientation in a practical skills program of Department of Automotive Repair. Based on my research and literature review is to discuss the foundation of constructive theory. Furthermore, I create a&;quot; learning motivation and career orientation scales for students motivation of learning and career orientation is a practical skills program of Department of Automotive Repair.&;quot; Via my questionnaire, I analyze the differential and relevant of motivation of students learning and career orientation. This study is to collect data from students of Automotive Repair in a practical skills program of 22 senior high schools for the domestic portion. The questionnaire is the method of this study. A total of 1,000 questionnaires were distributed and officially recovered 806. I eliminate invalid questionnaire, and valid questionnaires are 762. The rate of survey recovery was 76.2%. Based on percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson product-moment correlation for data processing and analysis, I could conclude the following conclusions.
1. The motivation of students learning in a practical skills program of vocational high school of Department of Automobile Repair,&;quot;career development&;quot; is the highest.
2. The career orientation of students in a practical skills program of vocational high school for Department of Automobile Repair, &;quot;life satisfaction&;quot; is the highest.
3. The investigation found that students whose motivation of learning is higher, who graduated from the eastern schools in a practical skills program of vocational high schools that with auto repair intern experience or relevant certificates, two-parent families.
4. The investigation found that students whose career orientation is higher, who graduated from the southern schools in a practical skills program of vocational high schools that with auto repair intern experience or relevant certificates, two-parent families.
5. This research showed that between learning motivation and career orientation has the positive correlation in a practical skills program of vocational high school of Department of Automobile Repair.
Finally, the results in this research will be useful to educational institutions and subsequent related researcher.
