In the present study, junior high school learners utilized App editor to compile English vocabulary learning materials for themselves to recite, remember, and analyze their learning content. The aim of this study is to find out the effect of the App assisted learning materials on English vocabulary learning. This research is a quasi-experimental study with 92 junior high student participants. Thirty-one students in experimental group A compiled vocabulary learning content through Apps by themselves. Thirty students in experimental group B used the App compiled by instructor. And 31 students didn’t receive any App assisted learning. After eight-weeks of experiment, the results indicate that the students who compile the App by themselves outperformed the students who received App compiled by instructors and those who didn’t learn through App in terms of their English vocabulary post-test, and delayed posttest. In addition, the learners who compile the App by themselves think that they were willing to recite the vocabulary through App and are willing to continue to compile App assisted learning materials. 蔡銘修 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
