碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 土木與防災研究所 === 103 === The diaphragm wall is mostly used in the basement excavation as the the retaining wall design. With the increasing of the depth of excavation, it became quiet general to construct butress wall or cross wall, with the diaphragm wall to reduce the chances of displacement.And the pile wall, which has the same construction method as the diaphragm wall, is now considered as a better option then pile to use in constructing of the high-rise building. By constructing both pile wall and the diaphragm wall during the same process, it would be more likely to avoid the waste of time then doing two different methods of engineering. To make the process goes easier after the construction equipment be settled up, the units planning should be drafted before the engineering of diaphragm wall ,Cross Wall、butress wall and pile wall. However, how well the units planning be drafted will make a difference to the quality and the progressing of engineering. Generally, the units planning is not following the dealer but the professional construction contractor. By that this study collects some of the construction engineering cases in Taipei and also my own 20 years experiences of the diaphragm wall engineering as examples. Summarizing the principles and essentials for the units planning of the diaphragm wall as a reference of the construction engineering. Also, explaining with way of examples that how to draft the units planning when the diaphragm wall constructing with cross wall、butress wall or pile wall. To optimize the units planning for various needs of design and function of the constructions. This study uses not only the units planning of the normal diaphragm wall, but also some of those according to triffic planning and the units planning for various geology properties as examples. Such as the diaphragm wall construction of the Metropolitan Rapid Transit System. The purpose of this study is about how to make constructing progress of the diaphragm wall goes programming. And also expecting this study can be one of the studying reference of how to draft a units planning for the diaphragm wall engineering.
