However, many failures happen when using DDS in dental clinic and laboratory. It is because of the gap of knowledge and technology to the healthcare people and it leads to the serious risk problem for providing the prosthetics solution to the patient. For improving this problem, the study focuses on three target audience- Dental clinic, Laboratory and DDS supplier. By interviewing with dentists and technicians, this study collects the potential risk at user application end. Then, it uses the method of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) for reviewing all the risk items from user application, product development to manufacturing process by team-work. According to the hazard level for defining the priority of each risk item and perform the corrective actions accordingly. Gaining the input with professional knowledge by interviewing with experts, it enhances the function of FMEA, and it improves the concern of the closed input as a traditional FMEA method. This progress makes the result of risk improvement much close to the real user demand. The potential risk of Digital Dentistry Solution is surely reduced through continued risk reviewing and improving progressed by FMEA team. Digital Dentistry Solution can be performed much stable with high quality and efficiency in dental clinics/ laboratory. The total research result provides a working model as the reference to the supplier of Digital Dentistry Solution. *Digital Dentistry Solution used in dental clinic is named Chair-side solution.
