as a manufacturing company for the housing of power supply and heat sinks by non-ferrous metal.
There are two world-class sheet metal CNC machine companies, TRUMPF (Germany) and AMADA (Japan). JINPAO decided to purchase machines from
AMADA instead of TRUMPF. After years of working with AMADA, they have selected JINPAO as their most valued partner. In fact, AMADA is willing to exchange research information with JINPAO; they also provide technical analysis with machine
upgrade training. AMADA visit JINPAO from time to time in order to research and develop new machines based on JINPAO’s need of improvement.
JINPAO continuously to transform in order to meet customers technical requirements by coordinating with its professional sheet metal fabricating team and AMADA’s newest CNC technology. Therefore, JINPAO managed to avoid conventional fabrication patterns, as well as avoiding highly competitive markets. JINPAO targets nitch markets such as customized high mix low volume products.
JINPAO’s business philosophy is to grow together with customers and it doesn’t only focus on customer satisfaction but also pursuing self-improvement. In fact, JINPAO challenges and overcome all the high-precision customer requirements and involved in customer’s new product research and development projects. With years of challenges and improvements, JINPAO has successfully created its own “Blue Ocean
Strategy” and was listed as an OTC Company in Taiwan in October 2014. This case study of business transformation and company management will be discussed from the point of view of a Taiwanese enterprise in Thailand. The discussion will be on how a business transforms to meet the requirement of Taiwan’s company law and
OTC regulations. This case study was based on JINPAO as the sample case to discuss
the enterprise innovation and development process under the sharp insight and managerial philosophy of managing director, and such sensitivity of strategy and attitude also play a key role in enterprise transformation, positioning in industry and reputation.
