Considering varieties of materials, some machining methods such as drilling, EDM, LBM, WJM and Micro Mechanical Drilling could be selected to fabricate tiny small holes. Due to the micro drills with diameter less than 0.03mm are available in commercial market, micro mechanical drilling has become one of the technologies and widely used to drill micro holes on stainless steel. Even, mechanical drilling is an excellent process to drill micro holes however, some parameters such as feeding rate, spindle rotation speed, burr and tool life are not clear. This paper describes the characteristics of mechanical micro holes drilling and burr treatment by pulse ECM on the same machine. Not only the ultrasonic vibration with amplitude of 3um was used to increase the machining efficiency, but also micro pulse-ECM was also applied to remove the edge burr of the micro holes. The experimental results show that micro hole with diameter 75μm and thickness 1mm could be drilled without any tool breakage and the burr also was removed completely by pulse ECM. 許東亞 學位論文 ; thesis zh-TW
