Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 103 === In this thesis, flux switching machine topology is used in designing a generator for electric scooter. The generator has outer rotor structure to increase air gap radius. Due to its simple structure with silicon steel, the rotor is robust for operation in hash environments. The appearance of the generator is determined based on a generator currently installed in a popular scooter. The proposed generator has six slots in the stator for convenience of stator windings. Seven-pole rotor structure is selected to yield better performance. However, this motor exhibits significant unbalanced radial force due to the odd number rotor poles. Hence, this thesis also proposes a two-layer stator and rotor structure to reduce unbalanced radial force. In addition to finite element analysis and design, a prototype generator was also manufactured for experimental verifications.
