In this study, we use the characteristics of the high oxygen content ,low carbon content and different distillation temperature of the alcohol fuel to reduce the concentration of pollutants in the exhaust emissions from diesel engines and the consumption of fossil energy. In this experiments , we respectively put methanol and propanol into Super Diesel by three different kinds of proportion. The results show that the SD90M5P5 mixed fuel has three advantages: low fuel consumption as SD90P10; low Smoke, Nox emission levels as SD90M10; low HC emission levels as SD90P10.
