Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 自動化科技研究所 === 103 === Because of the high-tech industry flourishing recent years, more and more precision instruments have been used. However, these electronic devices have much stricter power quality demands. Generally, power quality is defined as any power problem manifested in voltage, current, or frequency deviations that result in failure or misoperation of utility. Poor power quality will increase the power consumption rate and reduce the life of electrical equipment. As a result, the power which is provided by power company becomes an important issue.
In this thesis, power quality measurement is implemented on an Altera&;#39;s SoC FPGA. In order to reduce noise and directly current offset disturbance, this thesis uses fast Fourier transform to observe signal characteristic in the frequency domain. The identification module follows the power quality standard which is defined by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. This proposed system is mainly designed for detecting short-duration voltage fluctuation and power harmonic interference. And use Global Positioning System as a time reference source. When the system detects an event, it generates power quality data interchange format file, and record the current timestamp.
The abnormal voltage, current waveform and root mean square values can be observed through the power quality data interchange format file. This system also combines web server and file transfer protocol function, user can conveniently acquire abnormal power quality information through the Internet.
