Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 環境工程與管理研究所 === 103 === In order to make the diesel vehicle test procedure of our country to approach the world, Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, published &;quot;Diesel vehicle exhaust opacity test method and process&;quot; on March 2014, and then implemented which from January 2015. However, &;quot;Diesel vehicle exhaust smoke test method and process&;quot; originally implemented by our country is to use the filter paper reflection type smokemeter to measure the exhaust smoke which is different from the newly implemented &;quot; Diesel vehicle exhaust opacity test method and process &;quot; using the opacity analyzer to measure the opacity; further, the correlation between smoke and opacity is also unclear.
The study is based on test data of smoke and opacity of in use diesel vehicles of the project work plan &;quot;Established in use diesel vehicles pollutant improvement and examination system plan&;quot; of Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan during 2010 to 2013 to conduct the research and analysis and then investigate the relation between the filter paper reflection type somkemeter and the opacity analyzer; moreover, the study also compares which with the research result of Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan in order to investigate the correlation between smoke and opacity of in use diesel vehicles of our country. The study result shows the R-square value of the regression expression obtained from smoke and opacity of 451 in use diesel vehicles is 0.6883, which means medium/high positive correlation; in addition, the study compares which with the research result of Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, and the result shows the opacity difference of the smoke 10%-50% is 0.73%-7.99%, and the average opacity difference is 5.23%; therefore, the study result can clarify the correlation between smoke and opacity of the in use diesel vehicles of our country, which can serve as the references to convert the smoke of the original examination process into the opacity of the new examination process.
