| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 管理學院工業工程與管理EMBA專班 === 103 === Due to the limited natural resources and high dependence on import energy in Taiwan, the security sense of energy is relatively low. Oil, Coal and Gas are the main energy sources for currently domestic energy demand. A high proportion of high-carbon energy is supplied from abroad. As a result, the international energy price fluctuations will affect the livelihood of domestic economy. While facing the requirement of reducing the greenhouse gas emissions, growing the country&;#39;s economic development, stable energy supply and environmental protection, all we can do is either to save energy or to improve energy efficiency. Development of the energy industry is not only a key for the next wave of international competition for Taiwan industries, but also a necessary condition for achieving our carbon reduction commitment by the government.
Development of new energy sources requires a lot of capital investment. If there is no such a lot of external factor interactions, just to promote the idea aggressively is not enough to convince so many countries and companies to invest in developing green energy industry. This thesis will focus on the research and the discussion on Taiwan&;#39;s green energy development status and trends, supplemented by the world&;#39;s leading countries green energy development, green energy policy analysis and comparison discussion.
There are seven main green energy sources that Taiwan government is currently promoting: including LED, Fuel cells, EICT, Photovoltaic, Wind Power, Biofuel and Battery Electric Vehicle. In the case study, we discuss T Company’s green energy development strategy as the analysis object. Through the discussion about the development of the current situation and key business project Photovoltaic, LED industry, we explore the problems, the solutions and the future development process for Taiwan&;#39;s green energy industry. We hope to contribute the future of Taiwan-related research for promoting the development of green energy related industries. The following are three main topics:
(A) Understand the global trend of green energy industry to analyze the development of Taiwan&;#39;s green energy industry trends and the key success factors.
(B) Case study for T Company to explore its green energy industry development strategy and key success factors.
(C) Research and recommend Taiwan green energy industry development strategy.
