Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 餐旅管理學系 === 103 === With living in busy life many people have been suffering from tremendous pressure from their work. As a result, the lack of insufficient activity and poor dietary behavior results in high risk of obesity and chronic disease. In order to reduce such risk they need nutrition education to improve their health. Unfortunately, the current nutrition education has been provided by nursing staffs on one on one basis or outpatient medical staffs via verbal communication. Since the information needed to be passed on to patients is enormous and is very difficult to be conveyed within a short time period, the health education obtained by this way is generally temporary. To resolve this dilemma, this study develops a health nutrition education-based APP which can input the nutrition information into smartphones so that people can acquire and retrieve the desired nutrition information any time and anywhere by their smart phones. The proposed APP modifies the system developed by DeLone and McLean(2003) and can be further implemented as an information technology-based system in smart phones to keep track of people’s intention of using our designed nutrition education. By virtue of this APP, we are able to conduct a survey on users’ intention to produce statistics that can be used for data analysis in various applications. The results demonstrated that our designed APP was easy to use and was very beneficial to consumers who can acquire nutrition education information at their discretion. Most importantly, the survey also finds that our APP users are very satisfactory and provide positive feedbacks to our designed APP which allows them to establish correct nutrition knowledge and further help them improve health via better manage their own nutitrion plans.
