This led a psychological phenomenon popularly referred to as Fear of Missing Out(Przybylski et al., 2013), FoMO as a unease of feeling that others might behaving rewarding experiences from which one is absent, that others might behaving rewarding experiences from which one is absent, it is characterized by the desire to stay continually connected with what others are doing. Despite have the preliminary study for FoMO, and increased interest in and writing about FoMO, but about FoMO in addition to the psychological needs satisfaction of other possible form factor and how it affects people's behavior on social media with psychological distress is still relatively scarce. Because of that, this study based on FoMO mediation model, use maximizing, regret establishment of research model, and try to investigate the factors and the influence of FoMO. This study used questionnaire survey, we received total 288 effective samples. The results showed that (1) it has non-significant influence between maximizing tendency to FoMO, (2) regret tendency is positive influence on FoMO, (3) FoMO is positive influence on compulsive usage of social media and surveillance usage of social media (4) compulsive usage of social media is positive influence on techno-overload and techno-invasion (5) surveillance usage of social media is positive influence on techno-overload, but it has non-significant influence between surveillance usage of social media to techno-invasion.
