Summary:碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 103 === This thesis proposes various antenna designs include Dongle antenna, Dongle MIMO antenna, and Circularly Polarized antenna for Wireless Local Area Network Applications. In the first paragraph, a design of the monopole Dongle Antenna for WLAN Applications is proposed; the overall size of antenna is 45 mm × 10 mm × 1.6 mm and the area of antenna is 15 mm × 10 mm. The antenna portion is using monopole antenna, the antenna radiation area of the inverted-L metal arm structure, which adjust the main mode at 2.4 GHz. The inside of the rectangle metal and the branch of path matching adjust the high-frequency mode to achieve a good impedance bandwidth. In the Second paragraph, A design of miniaturized MIMO Antenna for WLAN Application is also proposed; the overall size of the antenna is 50 mm × 25 mm × 1.6 mm, including radiation area of 14 mm × 25 mm and system ground of 36 mm × 25 mm. The radiation area is two identical and symmetric monopole antennas are designed; the system ground slit U-shaped and two narrow metal strips matching adjusts extended for ground located at the edges of the U-shaped ground. The longer part of the metal extended from ground is to achieve isolation mechanisms to eliminate their mutual interference on the center part of the antenna portion. The last case in the thesis, a Circularly Polarized Monopole Antenna for WLAN Applications is presented; the overall size of the antenna is 45 mm × 40 mm × 1.6 mm and the area of antenna is 40 mm × 32.5 mm. The antenna portion is using monopole antenna, the antenna uses two meandered metal arm structure and added an inverted L-shaped strip extended from the ground to produce circularly polarized operation.
