碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 人類性學研究所 === 103 === This study investigated whether the introduction of sex toys increases couples'' satisfaction with their sex lives. The results from a literature review were used to discuss whether sex toy preferences and sex life satisfaction differ due to population variables and examine the correlation between sex toy preferences and sex life satisfaction. Purposive and snowball sampling methods were used. Questionnaires were completed by participants who reside in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, have sexual partners with whom they have used sex toys, and were willing to participate in this study. The results indicated that sex toy preferences and sex life satisfaction are significantly correlated. Remarks and suggestions were subsequently made for proprietors of adult stores, educators, and the general public with the aim of improving couples'' satisfaction with their sex lives.
