碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 建築與室內設計研究所 === 103 === Picture Book is a very popular for every people, using bright colors and lively pictures to show the idea of creators. The main idea is focus on using some pictures one by one and consciously to express the whole story. We also can read the whole story by looking at pictures, even there is no character statement. Depending on different views to discovered the meaning of colors and space in the different view of picture book by reading and researching the set of picture book called《The Fourteen Rats》. In this study, the author drew by familiar with nature and observant, from the observation of pictures construction to picture books, with different colors and composition to explore the symbolism of the images. Through the relationship of space and visual study of picture books in the composition and characteristics of expression to lead the reader take a plane as seen in picture books sense of space composition. Through the associated visual arts to explore the beauty of the image space of picture books, picture books found through analysis of color and composition to the visual performance and symbolic art.
